Grounding Breathwork Exercise
Try this exercise first thing in the morning and throughout your day to promote relaxation.
Find a comfortable seat and focus on your sit bones rooting into the earth. Relax your forehead, neck, jaw, and shoulders. Close your eyes and shift the focus to your natural relaxed breath. Once you’ve focused on the breath, begin the exercise with one round:
Open-mouth inhale with “HAHM” for 5 seconds.
Hold at the top of your breath for 3 seconds.
Relaxed open-mouth exhale with “SAH” for 5 seconds.
Repeat this round at least 5 times or more if needed.
Loving Kindness Meditation
One of our all time favorite meditations for opening your heart.
9 minutes guided meditation for all levels.

This 10 minute movement and breathwork practice can be energizing so adding this to your morning routine would be perfect! Keeping the breath cycling without pauses during the practice is key. This is accessible for all levels. Begin with 7 repetitions of each exercise. Add 2 repetitions each week or when you feel ready to. Work up to 21 repetitions per exercise.
